As a valued member of our team, the Special Projects Maintenance professional primary focus is on enhancing operational efficiency and addressing specific maintenance initiatives. You’ll collaborate with the maintenance team, engineers, and plant personnel to execute target projects. Your role involves troubleshooting, optimizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, your role is to contribute to the continuous improvement of our concrete production facilities. By spearheading specific projects, you’ll enhance reliability, streamline processes, and elevate safety practices. Your expertise will directly impact the overall effectiveness of our maintenance operations.

Essential Functions:
·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Execute maintenance projects efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
·         Investigate equipment failures, identify underlying issues, and propose corrective actions. Use data-driven insights to improve reliability and prevent recurring problems.
·         Allocate resources effectively; personnel, tools, and materials to meet project requirements. Optimize resource utilization while adhering to budget constraints.
·         Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor work quality, and ensure timely completion of specialized maintenance tasks.
·         Maintain accurate records of project progress, and outcomes. Prepare reports for management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement. 
 
Non-Essential Duties
·         Handling paperwork related to approvals, permits and documentation.
·         Conducting routine inspections, like daily walk-throughs.
·         Addressing minor equipment issues around the plan

·         Ability to plan, execute, and monitor maintenance projects effectively. Understand project phases, risk management, and resource allocation.
·         Proficiency in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Stay updated on industry trends and merging technologies.
·         Analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and adapt to changing circumstances. Apply critical thinking to overcome challenges.
·         Clearly convey project updates, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide concise reports. Active listening and negotiation skills are essential.
·         Prioritize safety protocols during project execution. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are based on shift, hours to be determined.  Not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Pay: 45.00 per hour
Travel Required:  Estimated less than 10%

Minimum Education and Experience
·         High School diploma or GED is required.
·         2+ years experience in maintenance or a similar field.
·         Technical training or certifications related to maintenance.
·         Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
 
Preferred Education and Experience
·         Associates Degree in mechanics or related field.
·         Technical training or certifications related to maintenance.
·         2+ experience in the automotive field.
·         3+ years experience in maintenance or similar field.
·         Strong understanding of automotive technology and industry.
